These facilities are used for domestic and international renewable energy projects, electric vehicle charging infrastructure, energy efficiency improvements, etc., and are expected to contribute to greenhouse gas reduction.
Number of Energy Valley partner companies passed 632
Since 2015, we have promoted the creation of an Energy Valley, and in 2019, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport selected KEPCO's Smart City Operation Platform as an exemplary case in innovation cities. As of 2023, 632 companies have joined the cooperative agreement.

In 2020, we established the first ESG Committee under the Board and launched an ESG Advisory Committee of external experts in 2021. In 2019, we formed a CEO-led Compliance and Ethics Committee and in 2022, underwent Board of Audit and Inspection evaluation.

Certifications & Recognitions
ISO 14001 Certification
The ISO 14001 certification is an international certification on environmental management system, established by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). It engages a third-party certification institution to evaluate whether an organization's environmental management system complies with global standards. KEPCO obtained company-wide certification in 2008, recognizing its compliance with environmental regulations, environmental performance management, and pollution reduction activities in accordance with international standards.
